POSITION SUMMARY:

The Inside Sales Representative, ISM, is responsible for assisting in developing new prospects and interacting with existing customers. In addition, the ISM’s responsibility is to increase sales of Fisher Barton products while working closely to support Key Account Managers, Territory Sales Managers and Business Development Managers to generate sales.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Proactive approach to selling Fisher Barton products to established Tier 2 & 3 customers
  • Partners with Territory Sales Managers and Key Account Managers with assigned Tier 1 customers
  • Work with assigned Tier 2 & 3 customers on forecasts/planning and represent sales in the S&OP process
  • Develop new business to ensure a healthy funnel of business over 3+ year period
  • Achieve goals aligned to sales objectives
  • Proactively communicate any customer opportunities to the Sales Team
  • Develop in depth-market and customer knowledge
  • Identify and close additional purchase of products and services by customers
  • Engage in technical discussions with potential clients via telephone or telemarketing

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Collaborative problem-solver; ability to quickly assess customer’s needs, process orders
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills required
  • Ability to handle customers over the phone
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to effectively deal with change and the unknown; adaptable and flexible

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· High School Diploma or equivalent required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering or related field is strongly preferred

· Knowledge of manufactured components is desired

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND VISUAL DEMANDS

· Majority of the business day is in a standard office environment, with some exposure to the manufacturing plant

· Requires occasional lifting of products weighing up to 20 lbs

· May be required to work over 40 hours per week.
